Joy Fields Abraham, ANP-BC

Joy Fields Abraham has a Masters in Adult Health from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelors in nursing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Additionally, Joy was a NC Nurse Scholarship recipient, graduated Magna cum Laude and was a member of Sigma Theta Tau. Joy’s professional experience includes a year as an Operating Room nurse and nearly four years in primary care, long–term care, research and hospice.

Joy loves hearing stories passed from generation to generation. She feels the older generation has done a good job of taking care of us and wants to help take care of them in return.

Joy enjoys reading, traveling, going to Disney World, and, most of all, her family – her husband (who is completing his PhD at Texas A&M), their young daughter, and two dogs.
