Beers Criteria

The Beers Criteria was developed as a tool to identify inappropriate or high-risk drugs in the elderly. Physicians Home Visits is a strong supporter of weaning patients from potentially harmful prescribed drugs. We encourage our patients and their family members to be familiar with this list of drugs, their harmful side-effects, and why we desire to limit their use.
